Bermuda expands into South-East Queensland
September 16, 2011 by Robyn
Printing supplies company Bermuda has expanded into Queensland opening a new distribution centre in Brisbane. The new centre in the Brisbane suburb of Virginia has been set up to provide consumable
printing services to Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.
Print companies in
Slacks Creek and across Brisbane will now have much easier access to Bermuda’s press room supplies.
Previously, Bermuda’s Queensland operations operated out of its parent company’s, Graph-Pak, Gold Coast site in Biggera Waters. However according to Graph-Pak’s managing director Tom Ralph, it was becoming quite a challenge to keep up with demand:
"Bermuda has been growing pretty fast and we found that constantly shipping to the Gold Coast wasn't as easy as we thought.
"The new facility will allow for Bermuda to offer on-demand delivery of pressroom consumables to its growing client base in Queensland."
Bermuda now has two sites in NSW and two sites in Queensland.
This expansion follows a busy couple of months for Bermuda who recently became the sole distributor for ABC/Allied Pressroom Products which is a manufacturer of chemical products for the print industry. This new partnership sees the re-introduction of its famous fountain solution – Original All Star Fount, which had been absent from the Australian market for two years.
Bermuda Printing Supplies works with print companies across Australia to provide pressroom chemicals. The company also supplies other printing products including Heatset web products, web-slip silicone emulsions, UV & water based coatings and fountain solution technology. In 2010 Bermuda was sold to Graph-Pak – print equipment manufacturers.
