Country music superstar coming to Perth
November 5, 2013 by Robyn
Dolly Parton fans across Australia will be booking dates in their diaries for next February, after the popular singer announced a new tour of the country.
The country music star, who even has her own theme park, will be stopping at the Perth Arena as part of the tour, which is her first in Australia since 2011.
With a singing and acting career spanning four decades and more than 40 albums, Dolly is no stranger to success and her last tour proved very popular with record breaking audiences in both Europe and Australia. This series of six Australian concerts is likely to be just as popular so fans from Welshpool should get in quick and book tickets to make sure they secure a place, with just one date for Perth scheduled on the tour.
The singer and songwriter will be releasing a new album called Blue Smoke very soon and the shows are likely to feature some of the new material. There will no doubt also be some old favourites in the set list, guaranteed to get the crowd singing along.
For admirers lucky enough to get a ticket, banner printing could be used to get a message across to Dolly. With bright colours and large imagery, banners and posters would be a great way to get noticed.
Dolly Parton will be performing at the Perth Arena on Thursday February 27. Tickets, including special meet-and-greet packages, are on sale now and are available from Ticketek.
