Captain Kirk treks to Perth and beyond

In March 2013, West Australian fans of the Star Trek movies and TV series will journey to the Print company in Perth printing services Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre from such remote corners of the universe as Wangara, Stirling and Print company in Welshpool printing services Welshpool to spend time with the original star of the series. William Shatner, who is 81 and showing no signs of retiring, will appear at the Oz Comic-Cons in Adelaide and Perth.

Shatner, who played Captain James T. Kirk in the original 1960s series and voiced the character in the 1970s animated version, is looking forward to visiting the opal mines of Coober Pedy, and diving with whale sharks off Ningaloo.

Shatner and his wife, Elizabeth Anderson Martin, will have a few days to spare on their trek, and have asked fans to send suggestions for further adventures via Twitter.

The Hawks players will be available for a limited time to sign autographs and have pictures taken with fans.
