Diverse cultures and activities to be enjoyed at the Kensington Community Festival

Residents and visitors from Print company in Footscray printing services Footscray, as well as surrounding areas, will be treated to a day of fun-filled activities at the nearby Kensington Community Festival.

An annual event, the festival aims to appeal to all members of the area’s multicultural society and this year it is celebrating the 10th time it has been enjoyed by the community. This festival is supported and presented by the City of Print company in Melbourne printing services Melbourne and the Victorian Multicultural Commission in collaboration with local business organisations.

A number of food and drink stalls from many cultures will be on site, as well as a barbecue. Many activities will be offered to suit all tastes, including a number of performances by choirs such as Chinese and child choristers. Local organisations will staff exhibits, and displays and workshops will be offered on such diverse activities as playing ukuleles and African drumming. The Kensington Community Festival will begin at 10:00 am and run to 5:00 pm on Sunday, April 2 at JJ Holland Park, which is located at 67-121 Kensington Road at Kensington. Entry is free and open to all ages.
