August 9, 2011 by Robyn
Global inkjet printer manufacturer Domino is now offer label press manufacturing following the launch of its new N600i four colour press.
The new machine will be unveiled at Labelexpo in Brussels, the label industry’s trade show held every two years. Domino will also launch its new K600i, its single colour print bar.
"The designs of both the K600i and N600i reflect a deep and long established understanding of inkjet technology that spans over 30 years,” said Philip Easton, director of
digital printing at Domino.
"In addition, Labelexpo will be the first show where we will begin to roll out product deliverables that reflect the company’s increased commitment to R&D enabling us to develop leading edge technologies that make valuable contributions to the productivity and profitability of our customer’s businesses."
The N600i boasts print speeds of around 50 – 75 metres per minute with fast change over and short run-length options normally found in digital printing. However it can print up to 1500 square metres making long run print jobs possible using the machine.
The K600i can print at almost double the speed of similar digital printing machines and can print a range of different widths.
The printing press will be available in Australia in 2012.
