Free Country Music Festival returns next month

The Country Music Festival will provide entertainment over two days to all locals and visitors to Whittlesea, near Print company in Epping printing services Epping, next month.

The fun will begin with buskers in the main street and an evening concert on the first day, followed by a street party on the second day with more buskers and activities for children such as an animal farm and jumping castle. This in turn will be followed by the concert in the afternoon. The evening will conclude with a firework spectacular. Food and drink stalls will be installed for visitors to purchase refreshments.

The Country Music Festival, presented by local volunteers, has entertained the community for more than 15 years. Musical performances are being presented to suit all tastes. Entertainers will include James Blundell, Wilbur Wilde and Frankie J Holden. The Country Music Festival is free and everyone is welcome. Beginning on Friday 10th February from 2.00pm to 5.00 in the Main Street, buskers will be displaying their skills. Music will follow at the Whittlesea Bowls Club from 7.00pm. Buskers will once again be performing in the street party in the Main Street from 10.00am to 4.00 pm, followed by live music. from 4.00pm to 9.30pm at the Walker Reserve in Laurel Street Whittlesea and concluding with fireworks.
