Melbourne Business Network breakfast club
July 20, 2011 by James
The next meeting of the Melbourne Business Network breakfast club will be held on August 4 at Melbourne Town Hall. This is a monthly meeting intended to help members and non-members network with each other; the main goal is lead generation. Those in the Melbourne suburb of
Box Hill South who are attending this meeting will be printing and bringing promotional literature such as business cards and brochures to pass around.
The breakfast will be served from 7 until 7:30am giving attendees a chance to meet each other and do some networking. From 7:30 to 8am there will be a speaking presentation by Bev Brough of Master Networking. From 8:30 to 9am coffee will be served with another chance to network. The breakfast club meeting will finish with a lead generation workshop from 9 until 10:30am. The meeting will be free for Melbourne Business Network members and $50 for non-members.
The Melbourne Business Network has existed since 2001 and mainly represents businesses in the West End of Melbourne; membership costs $350 for individuals and $650 for businesses. Members receive many perks from their membership, among them; they have access to marketing support and networking events, they can attend educational workshops, they have an easy way to contact City Hall, they can list their business in the directory on the Melbourne Business Network website and they receive a monthly newsletter. It is always in the best interest of small business owners to join such an organization; as is often said, there is power in numbers.
