New online platform for signage supply

In another innovation for Australian printing companies, Australian Visual Solutions is offering a new online platform that features an e-commerce facility.

The facility allows customers to order a comprehensive list of sign-writing consumables from a range of customers such as Spartan Media, 3M and Roland.

The platform was designed to be a ‘simple and concise’ way to order and pay online. This is an asset when ordering from suppliers who might be based in other parts of the country such as a printing company needing to order a consumable from a company in Slacks Creek especially if the first company is in Perth.

Cameron Sutherland, Australian Visual Solutions Managing Director said,

"It has been important for me to find the right solution for our clients. When you add the new shopping cart to our newly created national customer service team, we believe our clients can only benefit. I guess we are going against the grain a little as most businesses downsize the customer service function when introducing the an online facility but I believe it is critical to offer the best of both."

Sutherland said that the site has received a warm response from customers and was optimistic about the future of the new facility being offered on the website.

If the new facility does attract and satisfy customers of Australian Visual Solutions, other printing companies may consider including a similar function dedicated to e-commerce on their own websites.

The website was launched in early December of this year.
