August 13, 2011 by James
Printer’s Choice who provide software for the print industry has launched its new Management Information System (MIS) for the wide format and sign industry designed to make it easier to run their business. Known as Printer’s Choice for Sign, the new system was originally launched at PrintEx11, Australia’s leading design and print expo, held at Sydney’s Convention Centre during May of this year.
According to Bill Kuyper, Director of Marketing at Printer's Choice:
“Printer’s Choice for Sign is set to help signage businesses streamline their administration, run their businesses more effectively and, most importantly, free up vital resources to concentrate on production."
The Windows package includes features such as quoting, inventory, ordering, project management, account management and also stock control. The system can even report on how much cash is being made on each job.
One of the system’s key features is its new Signcutting functionality designed to make signage jobs such as display or banner printing easier and more accurate.
“The new package also features an all-new, easy to use ‘Signcutting’ operation which provides accurate and flexible management of signage jobs.”
Kuyper said.
“With Signcutter, signies can let the computer work out the material, cutting, weeding and application or manually override the result to produce customised results, so it’s the perfect solution for any business in the signage and display area."
he concluded.
Printer’s Choice develops Management Information Systems for print companies of all sizes. Its Australian headquarters is based in
Melbourne’s
Narre Warren near
Scoresby and it also has an office in Auckland.
