Print Companies in Penrith
Designated a Regional City under the NSW Metropolitan Strategy, Penrith is a major commercial centre located 50 km west of the Sydney CBD, with the Blue Mountains on its skyline. It has several shopping complexes, the biggest being Westfield Penrith with over 200 retail outlets from specialty shops to department stores. This is a solid and growing market for print companies, in an area with such an emphasis on commercial growth.
Pentrith is well serviced by public transport as well as the Great Western Highway, and is home to a major railway station with frequent services to Sydney, and is a stop on the intercity Blue Mountains Line. The railway station also has its own bus terminal.
The Nepean College of TAFE has a Penrith campus, while a campus of the University of Western Sydney, is found in nearby Werrington, though officially of Penrith. The Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre incorporates the Pentrith Conservatorium of Music and the Q Theatre.
There are many local sporting clubs as well, and one of the lakes in the nearby Pentrith Lakes System – recreational lakes created from flooded quarries – hosted rowing events for the 2000 Olympics. International competitions are also held at the Penrith Whitewater Stadium.
With a growing concern with environment conservation, the area has many landcare groups.
Penrith's local planning is based on an expected significant population increase, and already much work on improving and increasing infrastructure is being undertaken by the Penrith Council, particularly in areas such as Erskine, home to the Erskine Business Park.
Altogether, Penrith offers print shops an energetic mixed local economy with, because of its status as regional centre, links beyond its borders – its sporting facilities alone provide international links. Business is brisk for any printing needs from business cards and stationery to brochures, catalogues and digital printing.
