Print Companies in Mooloolaba
Mooloolaba is 97 km north of Brisbane on
Queensland's Sunshine Coast. While the tourist trade is everywhere evident in brightly coloured Hawaiian shirts and sarongs – not to mention the brisk market in postcards by
print companies – there is more to this sun-drenched area.
Mooloolaba harbour, at the mouth of the Mooloolah River, houses many fishing vessels. The harbour also acts as the northern base for pilot vessels that control shipping through the Port of Brisbane and Moreton Bay. Not surprisingly, yachtsmen and other recreational sailors also use this sheltered, all-weather harbour. With the sea and the beach major focal points, there are, as well, many opportunities for water spots, including scuba diving at the nearby wreck of HMAS Brisbane.
Tourists flock to the Esplanade on Mooloolaba beach, where they find the marine park as well as clothing and souvenir shops, restaurants and galleries. Many stay in the tall apartment blocks near the Esplanade, or further back in camping gounds, hostels or holiday houses on the canal. This is a vibrant town, with, besides the long stretch of beautiful beach, a hinterland replete with national parks such as the Glasshouse Mountains and Kondalilla. Local tours can be organised, or vehicles hired. Evenings see a vibrant scene starting in restaurants and ending up at a variety of bars and nightclubs, particularly around the Esplanade,
Print companies enjoy this colourful and active ambiance through the sale of postcards and the provision of full colour printing services, and support the busy local enterprises through stationery, flyer and
brochure printing.
The local government body, Maroochydore Shire Council, has also formed a partnership with the Sunshine Coast University and local businesses to form a business and technology precinct, in order to attract new business, generate new employment and promote the region, from which, of course, Mooloolaba will benefit.
