Real Estate Institute Praises Low Budget Marketing Campaigns
September 15, 2011 by Robyn
The Real Estate Institute of Victoria gave awards for commercial and industrial marketing campaigns on Thursday the 8th of September. The award for "the best of the budget campaigns" was given to Nicols Crowder Property Solutions. This real estate agency won the award as they marketed a bright blue warehouse in
Moorabbin for under $5,000.
The average real estate marketing campaign will generally consist of signs, flyers and newspaper advertising. Real estate agencies can cut down on these costs by negotiating good rates on printing services with local printing services. Many people would be surprised to learn that it is not uncommon to spend more than $30,000 on an advertising and marketing campaign. However, as many of these buildings sell for hundreds of thousands of dollars, real estate agents feel that it is worth the cost.
This awards ceremony proved that real estate professionals do not need to spend an arm and a leg on advertising campaigns in order to sell a property for a good price. A prime example of this is the sale of a property that won the award for campaigns with a budget between $15,000 and $30,000. The marketing campaign for this property was priced at under $30,000 and the property itself sold for $6.5 million dollars.
When congratulating the winners the president of the REIV John Grabyn stated that the winners were great examples of effective marketing campaigns for commercial and industrial property in Australia.
