Print Companies in Dandenong
As far as Victorian local government areas go, the City of Greater Dandenong is large, with a huge population of 140,000 people. These hail from 156 different countries, and lend this city a vibrancy that’s hard to match. Many of these – 70,000, in fact – work locally. This area, which includes Dandenong and Sprinvale, has 150 local community groups and service clubs, is
Victoria’s manufacturing heartland, houses 9,000 businesses and last but not least, is regarded as the capital of the south east. All of this makes it dynamic, diverse, and a natural fit for print industry outlets such as Minuteman.
The Council is, along with the State Government, undertaking some of the biggest projects in the city’s history, including the market’s redevelopment and roadwork. Other projects include the Federal Government’s Community Infrastructure Program.
While business, industry and commerce are active in Dandenong, so is the population, with monthly festivals reflecting so many cultures, bike paths, swimming pools, many sports clubs and the much-vaunted new Drum Theatre. Dandenong boasts the largest basketball stadium in the southern hemisphere. Those in for a shot of adrenalin or a wager join the throngs from out of town at Sandown International Raceway to watch the cars, horses or greyhounds.
A mixed population such as this will, of course, make shopping a special experience, and Dandenong’s market is bustling, as are the many modern shopping complexes at Dandenong and Keysborough. The price conscious are well aware of Dandenong’s many factory outlets – and probably of the huge number of Asian restaurants and specialty supermarkets.
All in all, Dandenong offers a bright and busy community with many opportunities for print companies. Local activities require flyers, often brochures,
full colour printing; while local business, commerce and industry’s requirements range widely, from
digital printing, business cards and
stationery printing to catalogues and
poster printing.
