Print Companies in Narre Warren
Narre Warren used to be, not so long ago, a semi-rural residential town. But it has become, in the past few years of
Melbourne’s population explosion, a part of a major growth corridor to Melbourne’s south east. Expansion is taking place at a dizzying rate here, and new residential housing development is everywhere, along with the small business needed to service the new residents.
Print companies, such as Minuteman’s outlet, are valuable to a growing community such as this.
The local government in the area is the City of Casey, which serves a broad demographic, from the young and fast growing populations of Cranbourne North and Narre Warren South, to the slower, still-rural areas of Narre Warren North, Harkaway and Clyde. Needs are, obviously, wide-ranging, and this is exemplified by local sports organizations, which cater especially to the young, the Narre Community Learning Centre, for new skills for those wanting to re-enter the workforce, and the Westfield Fountain Gate shopping centre. Many will be familiar with this name from the popular TV show Kath and Kim!
Casey Council has, not surprisingly, grand plans for the municipality, with planning for boulevards, shopping malls, theatres and restaurant precincts. The Council wants to change the focus of thinking – from ‘suburb’ to ‘township’ – a new emphasis that is good news for local commerce.
The City of Casey is supportive of local business, and hosts its own business awards once a year. In addition, Casey is part of the regional economic strategy powered by the eleven municipal councils of Melbourne’s south east. This region, according to the Economic Strategy, is clearly identifiable as being of national significance. Regional development is the strategy’s focus, and the print industry is a valuable player when it comes to anything from business cards and stationery to brochures, flyers and digital printing in Narre Warren.
