Those at the LOreal Melbourne Fashion Festival were left worried that she may not able to take part in the David Jones parade after there were problems with her making her flight from Paris. In October 2011 the winners of the Victorian Print Industry Craftsmanship Awards (PICA) were announced at the Sofitel in Melbourne. The next stage of the recognition will be The 29th National Print Awards, which will be held on Friday 20th of April 2012 at the Palladium Ballroom at Crown. The theme for 2012 is Celebrating our Greatest Hits.
The Paladium at Crown 21 in Melbourne has been selected as the venue for this years National Print Awards. The awards night, Friday, 20 April 2012, will recognise the best of Australian print companies in various fields of endeavour.
The graduating students of RMITs printmaking studio have celebrated the end of the year with an annual awards night. Each year the graduates are considered for print awards, including the Collie Trust Emerging Victorian Printmakers Award and the City of Stonnington and Firestation Print Studio Awards.
