Work begins on $360m sports stadium

The first sod has been turned to mark the start of work on the construction of the Western Sydney Stadium in Print company in Parramatta printing services Parramatta.

Berejiklian described the new stadium as a `win for sports fans’ and said its construction will see the local economy boosted by seven-figure sums, as well as the creation of 2,000 jobs.

“This stadium will be a major boost for Sydney’s infrastructure and will be another venue that we can use to attract major events to NSW. This enormous investment is already generating flow-on benefits with $60 million in contracts awarded to Western Sydney businesses – with plenty more to come.”

Ayres said the new development, which is expected to generate continuous demand for local resources such as catering and Print company in printing services printing services printing services in the future, will introduce a new and innovative era of leading entertainment and sporting facilities.

He said the stadium will provide fans with 3,000 premium seats together with an open concourse of 360 degrees and views across the playing fields.

In addition, the project will include kids’ play areas, barbecue decks, green space and an open air cinema.

Western Sydney A-League captain Robbie Cornthwaite said his club is looking forward to their first matches on the new ground in 2019.
