August 8, 2018 by

Winnererremy Bay in Mona Vale will be hosting a ‘pop-up’ food and wine event this month.

Taste of the Beaches 2018 will feature food from a wide variety of local businesses bringing a great selection of tasting experiences. Wine-makers from the Mudgee wine region and local brewers will also be there with wines or beers to complement the food.

Live music will be provided by entertainers Browntone, Craig Calhoun, Rob Edwards Duo and ManaLion, bringing a mix of RnB, soul, and pop covers.

There will be activities for children too, with Gaston Souffle presenting a class in Italian cooking which will include magic tricks, juggling and ‘how to slurp gelato while looking good’. KidzKlub will host workshops in various arts and crafts plus an ‘Imagination Station’ where little ones can make their own masterpieces. The Little Umbrella Boutique will give children the chance to paint an umbrella. There will also be giant board games, face painters, a bubble zone and a photo booth. In addition, an active zone will have games and races throughout the day, plus skipping ropes, stilts, jumping balls, and totem tennis.

Taste of the Beaches will be on Sunday, August 19 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Stall holders at such events often like to have their business cards available for visitors to pick up.
