Mitcham Residents welcome spring

October 19, 2018 by

The Whitehorse Civic Centre will come alive this month and celebrate all things spring. Mitcham residents are invited to come along and celebrate the fun, artistic and creative events that make Whitehorse great.

The Spring Festival will feature live music, rides, interactive workshops, face painting and roving performers. Community groups participating in the event are looking forward to engaging with everyone in attendance.

The theme of this year’s event is focused on celebrating and showcasing artistic life in Whitehorse. Visual arts including painting, photography, drawing and ceramics will feature in the festival. The performing arts will be represented in the shape of theatre, music, dance and acrobatics. Events such as this are often promoted through banner printing and flyer printing to help make them a success.

The dancing and live music program will be spread across five stages. Roving entertainers will be on hand to entertain the young and young at heart. An interactive photo shoot will turn kids into creative directors. The 3D floor art display is designed to change your perspective of the world. The Spring Festival will be a day of family fun with free rides, games and delicious food.

The Spring Festival will be held on Sunday 21 October from 10am to 4pm at the Whitehorse Civic Centre precinct. Further details can be found on the City of Whitehorse website.
