Interactive learning event to take place in Footscray

A number of interactive and educational events will take place over two days in Footscray this November.

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in several unique learning experiences at different locations across Footscray.

Sami Shah Gets Schooled will feature a unique twist on the common debate. The event is free and local secondary school students will challenge the ABC broadcaster on a range of topics.

An irreverent and witty look at living in Footscray is the focus of ‘The Science of Living Well in Footscray’. Local problems will be explored through the eyes of scientists. The event is scheduled to be an intriguing exploration of local problems that have been triggered by the area’s rapid growth.

The family-friendly Skills Street will offer workshops and the chance to learn something new in 60 minutes. Quick learning opportunities will be available across the areas of sport, fitness, trades, robotics, health and AI.

Other events on offer include Food for Thought, Local Conversations and In the Dark. Events such as these can sometimes be advertised using poster printing services.

Learning on the Edge is intended to put a twist on everyday learning and to encourage people to get out of their comfort zone. Events are scheduled at a range of venues across Footscray on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th November. Further details can be found on the Learning on the Edge website.
