Live music to come to Kingston City Hall

Kingston Arts and The Flying Saucer Club are partnering up to bring a series of live music gigs to City Hall in Moorabbin during December, showcasing some of the best music of the ‘70s.

Friday 7th December will see Australian pop pioneers Mental As Anything performing their chart-hitting classics such as ‘Live it Up’ and ‘The Nips Are Getting Bigger’. Jack Howard and the Ambassadors of Love will be presenting their ‘Bacharach and Beyond’ show on Saturday 8th December with the music of Burt Bacharach and other performers of his era.

To mark 50 years since Creedence Clearwater Revival released its first album, Ramble Tamble will present two big sets of CCR music on Saturday 15th December. On Saturday 22nd December, Dancing in the Street will recreate lots of well-known songs by Motown artists such as Stevie Wonder and Mary Wells.

The Music of Crosby Stills and Nash will be featured by Canyon and special guests Tracy Kingman and Mick Pealing on Saturday 29th December. To round off the year, Nick Barker and The Monkey Men will perform the iconic Rolling Stones album ‘Beggars Banquet’ followed by a selection of other Stones classics.

The cost of tickets varies from gig to gig and tickets can be purchased online. Flying Saucer Club promotional products will be on sale at City Hall.
