AnnanROMA back to celebrate food and drink

April 29, 2017 by

For those living in and visiting Campbelltown or the surrounding area, the food, beer and wine festival AnnanROMA is about to return to nearby Mount Annan.

Favourite events will return, with some improvements, such as ‘Eat Street’, which will allow visitors to explore a number of eateries from a multitude of different cultures along the length of the Australian Botanic Garden, spanning all the way from the playground to Lakeside Lawn. There will be plenty of room to relax on the grass and enjoy the atmosphere and entertainment. Opened in 1988 by the Duke and Duchess of York, as part of the NSW Bicentennial project, the Australian Botanic Garden boasts around 2,000 different species of Australian native plants.

Local restaurant and food producers will come together to provide gastronomic delights, and wineries and breweries from Campbelltown, Camden, and Wollondilly will be offering their wines and beers. Stallholders will strictly be only local traders and will include such producers as Burger Frank, Embers Charcoal Kitchen, Flipside Brewing, Gledswood Winery and Haruki Japanese Fusion Restaurant. Food festivals such as this are likely to use banners. Printing services may be used for food and beverage lists. Business cards may also be available.

AnnanROMA will be open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm tomorrow, April 30, at Mount Annan in the Australian Botanic Garden on Narellan Road. Entry is free and open to all.
