Artisan market promotes locally made fare in Randwick

The monthly Randwick Artisan Market is the only indoor market of its kind in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, and the next one is coming up in a few weeks.

Once a month, 20 stalls take over a central space in the Royal Randwick Shopping Centre to provide the public with local handmade goods to please every kind of shopper.

On market days, all parking is free, and the stalls operate from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. Nearby printing companies can provide signs and flyers for individual stallholders.

Royal Randwick is proud to support local entrepreneurs, and is careful with the selection of its stallholders, ensuring that no two stalls provide the same goods. This means more variety for the shopper.

Royal is not part of one of the big chains, but fills a need in its local community by donating $10 from every stall fee to the Sydney Children’s Hospital.

Also contributing to the Children’s Hospital is local music school Directions In Music, which provides live music throughout each market day.

Royal Randwick is at 73 Belmore Road, and on market days the stalls can be found on Level 1, at the top of the escalators. The next market will be on Sunday, June 4, and further information can be found on the market’s official website.
