Business excellence to reap rewards at Chamber’s big awards night

High-achieving business will be on the mind of nominees and guests at the cocktail party and announcement of winners in the Greater Print company in Dandenong printing services Dandenong Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.

The event will bring together 11 nominees who were announced at various Chamber of Commerce breakfasts held throughout the year.

Each business will also be vying for the ultimate prize – the Greater Dandenong Chamber of Commerce Business Award.

South East Business Networks (SEBN) manager Sandra George will have the task of selecting winners in each of the award categories, while a Youth Enterprise Award will also be presented by the Chisholm Institute.

Chamber Executive Officer Tiffany Murray said Dandenong has in excess of 12,500 businesses and about 400 had been showcased through the awards during the past 25 years.

She said the Chamber is all about assisting businesses to grow and succeed, and the awards provide a great basis for marketing services and promotional products that can attract new customers.

The chamber also plans to introduce more women’s events, training courses, seminars and guest speakers to provide the best networking and educational experiences possible.

Murray said the 2016 awards will mark the 25th and final year of the awards in its current format, with a new awards system soon to be introduced.

The winners will be announced during cocktails on November 30 at Print company in Springvale printing services Springvale’s Greyhounds Entertainment venue.
