Business Networking Luncheon in Brisbane

June 30, 2011 by

Women’s Network Australia (WNA) will be holding a business networking luncheon on Thursday, July 14 from 11:30 am to 2:15 pm. Member firms in nearby Slacks Creek and surrounding areas will be printing brochures to hand out at the luncheon. WNA members who bring a door prize to the event will be allowed to place a brochure and/or product samples on attendee’s seats.

Tickets for the luncheon are $75 for WNA members and $95 for visitors. Lunch will include a pre-lunch drink and open bar, a main course with vegetarian alternatives, coffee or tea and dessert. Kurek Ashley, a peak performance coach, will be giving a talk entitled Step Up: Discover your True Potential. The talk will discuss how women can reignite the desire in their lives, move past setbacks and distractions and recognize their greatness. All of these are important in the running of a business as well as in a person’s personal life; women own half the small businesses in Australia and they must be confident in themselves in order to succeed.

The luncheon will also be a good chance for women business owners to network with other women business owners and to share ideas and what problems they face.

Women’s Network Australia was founded in 1990 by Lynette Palmen for women to help each other, for women to develop business contacts and to help them share ideas on how to run a successful business. The WNA now has over 15,000 members located all over Australia.
