Business seminars to be held in Whittlesea

Epping business owners have three great opportunities to network and learn how to promote their firms this month.

The first event will be held on Wednesday April 17th and will focus on networking. Entrepreneurs can learn how to create a short elevator pitch to help sell their ideas, develop good relationships with others and how best to use networking events to gain new contacts.

The second, held on Wednesday April 24th, will look at how businesses can use social media to attract customers. The workshop will involve learning new ways to grow an email mailing list, how to get web traffic and how to use this to generate more business.

The final event of the month takes place on Tuesday April 30th and is designed to inspire business owners and update them on the latest news. Topics include business marketing and business organisation. The price includes a two course dinner and the chance to browse a business exhibition before the speakers begin.

Each of these events provides not only a chance to brush up on business skills, but also the opportunity to meet and network with other local entrepreneurs; so it is important to get any business card printing orders sorted out in advance to make the most of meeting new people.

The first two workshops will be held at the City of Whittlesea council offices in South Morang and the dinner event will be held at the Plenty Ranges Arts and Convention Centre, also in South Morang. For more information or to book, visit the City of Whittlesea website.
