Chance for local businesses to shine in the Hills

March 4, 2014 by

Castle Hill residents are being encouraged to vote for their favourite businesses in this year’s Sydney Hills Local Business Awards.

The awards are open to businesses around the Sydney Hills area and people can nominate companies in several different categories online, or by using a printed coupon. Companies can also register themselves for the awards, but will still need public votes to make the finals.

The businesses in each category that receive the most votes throughout the qualifying period will be entered into the final round, and will then be independently judged by mystery shoppers. Judging will be based on a number of areas, including customer service, the appearance of staff, merchandising and value for money.

With customer support determining the finalists, businesses from Castle Hill might like to think about using poster printing to advertise the awards and encourage their patrons to vote for them, and to have voting forms available at their premises. The eventual winners could also use printing services to add the accolade to business-related merchandise such as bags or business cards.

The finalists will all be featured in the local newspaper and the overall winners will be announced at a gala event at the end of April.

The awards are open now and the voting period closes on Wednesday March 12th. For more information or to vote, visit
