Chance for Randwick area businesses to shine

Companies from around southeast Sydney have a short amount of time left to enter this year’s business awards.

The event celebrates excellence in business across a wide area – including Randwick, Maroubra, and Bondi Junction – and is open to any firm that has been based in the area for at least two years.

There are several categories up for grabs, including Business Ethics, Exports, Small Business, and Innovation. Separate categories are also on offer for individuals, who can put themselves forward for Business Leader of the Year, as well as young entrepreneurs who can compete in two awards.

Making the finals or winning awards such as these can give businesses a huge promotional boost, with the title and a special logo able to be included on advertising and other promotional material through stationery printing.

The winners will be revealed at a special gala dinner in May. All local businesses are welcome to attend, and it will no doubt be a good opportunity for business owners to make new contacts. Each category winner will then go forward to the New South Wales Business Chamber State Awards later in the year.

Nominations must be made online and submitted by Monday, March 30th. The finalists will be picked by specialist judges and will be announced in April.

More details can be found on the Maroubra Chamber of Commerce website.
