City gears up for activity-filled Summerset Arts Festival

Residents of Print company in Balcatta printing services Balcatta, Print company in Western Australia printing services Western Australia and surrounding suburbs within the City of Stirling are gearing up for the annual Summerset Arts Festival.

The major event, to be run over 17 days, will highlight a wide range of entertainment and fun activities to be enjoyed by the entire family, regardless of age.

Mayor Cr. Giovanni Italiano applauded the extensive programme of events, which is to include a wide range of low-cost and free activities.

He said the main aim of the festival is to showcase the area’s unique lifestyle, heritage, culture and diversity.

The event has been promoted extensively via the media, flyers, brochures and local newsletter printing as a major entertainment fixture that will see the return of the always popular pop-up venue Sunset Veranda.

The Mayor said the award-winning venue, set to be the launch pad of the 2017 festival on January 20, will present world-class entertainment that is to include family fun and Fringe World shows.

He said the comprehensive list of activities will cater for all interests in a programme that features everything from film, cabaret, circus, theatre and music, to an impressive lineup of Australian artists at featured attractions such as the Summerset Concert.

Events of the 2017 Summerset Arts Festival will be held at multiple venues throughout the city between January 20 and February 5.

Mayor Italiano said the festival has successfully put the City of Stirling on the map when it comes to presenting cultural events.
