Collectibles and antiques for sale at fair

May 4, 2017 by

An annual event, the Antique and Collectibles Fair is coming up again soon in Midland for collectors to find that elusive object they have been searching for, or for interested members of the public to browse and pick up a bargain.

A large number of antiques and miscellaneous other sought after items will be for sale at affordable prices, including bric-a-brac and vintage goods. Pottery and jewellery will be present, among books and linen to name just a few of the offerings. There will be stalls set up for food and drink to be purchased during the day.

This event is organised by the Collectibles Society of WA, a nonprofit group that caters to those who love to collect any kinds of articles, whether it be stamps, thimbles, china or tools. Members share their discoveries with each other and enjoy listening to guest speakers. Fairs such as this typically include banner printing, while catalogues and business cards may also be available.

The Antique and Collectibles Fair will be held at the Midland Town Hall on 39 Great Northern Road at Midland on Saturday, May 20 and Sunday, May 21, running from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm each day. Admission is open to all, although children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult and will be admitted free.
