A pre-launch Open Day was held at the SDN Milperra Children’s Education and Care Centre recently.

Set in the Milperra Public School grounds, the centre is scheduled to open its doors in April.

The Open Day, advertised via flying printing throughout this area of New South Wales , was held to give the community an opportunity to inspect the purpose-built facility while also getting to know some of the staff who will be working there.

Many of the employees are locals and professionals in their field. They will play an important role in presenting programmes aimed at early childhood education, as well as caring for kids up to five years of age.

SDN Children’s Services has been established since 1905 and is a not-for-profit organisation. It specialises in early childhood care and education for over 100 years in Australia.

The new centre at Milperra will operate from 7.30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Meals will be included in the service for children, and specially prepared halal meals will also be available.

The Open Day was considered a huge success by the organisers, who said everyone had a great time.

While parents had questions answered and mingled with other families and the centre’s staff members, children were kept busy reading books, testing toys and exploring the new facility.
