May 29, 2017 by

Chant for Peace Events will be celebrating World Yoga Day in a unique way. In collaboration with The Mantra Room West End, it will hold a kirtan festival at the Princess Theatre in Woolloongabba.

The Chant for Peace Kirtan Festival is a peaceful and harmonious music party for world peace. Kirtan music is non-denominational and uses many of the instruments familiar to lovers of Indian music. Bands performing include Pralad and the Chants, Tribal Flow and Soul Sistas.

By inviting people of all ethnicities to join them for an evening of music, dance, meditation, relaxation and food, the organisers will be promoting inner peace among people of Woolloongabba, in the hope of encouraging peace in the wider world.

The Princess Theatre is at 8 Annerly Road, and is a popular venue in Woolloongabba for weddings as well as performances and parties. Local printing companies are nearby, ready to make any event easier with their talents, including full colour printing of anything from programmes to signs and even banner printing.
