Disney to bring its magic to Perth

Families in Perth can enjoy the magic of Disney next month as the spectacular Disney on Ice comes to the area. The tour is returning to the city for the first time in 13 years to present a new show called Princesses and Heroes.

Young audience members will no doubt find their favourite characters in the performance, which features some of Disney’s best-known faces.

The show includes Tinker Bell as a narrator, who guides the crowd through encounters with eight Disney princesses and their princes. Cinderella and Snow White are both part of the show, alongside newer princesses Tiana and Rapunzel.

The show follows each princess as their dreams are fulfilled with the help of their heroic princes. Adventures include everything from running a restaurant and finding true love to escaping a tower and seeing new worlds.

Beautiful costumes and stunning music combine with spectacular skating and amazing acrobatics to create a show that will no doubt whisk audiences away into a fantasy world for a few hours.

Parents from Bellevue thinking about taking their children should make sure they have extra money for merchandise, such as posters provided by nearby printing companies, in case young fans want to take home a souvenir.

The show is being staged at the Perth Arena in the central city and runs from Friday July 19th to Monday July 22nd, making it a perfect treat for the end of the school holidays. There is one show on Friday evening and another on Monday morning. There will also be three shows on both Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are available from Ticketek.
