Duo to serenade folk club in Berwick

Music lovers from Narre Warren and nearby suburbs will soon be able to enjoy Tidal Moon at the Old Cheese Factory, hosted by the Berwick Folk Club.

Performers Jose Garcia and Barbara Jeffrey together make up the duo Tidal Moon. Their classical, Celtic, folk and other acoustic music is played on harp, guitar, harmonica, bodhran and flute. Accompanied by their respective baritone and soprano voices, this provides a blend of original and traditional, but also contemporary music.

The Berwick And District Folk Club – known as BADFolk – presents an evening of music on the third Friday of every month. These evenings usually have a featured performer as well as an open session, but as part of the City of Casey’s Winter Arts Festival, the July get-together will feature Tidal Moon.

The Old Cheese Factory includes plenty of picnic spots and a children’s playground outside, as well as indoor rooms for parties, weddings and performances. For events like these, local printing services are able to provide posters, perhaps with a customised logo design, and various marketing services to help promotion.

Tidal Moon will perform on Friday, July 21 from 8:00 pm to 11:15 pm. Tickets are $8 for members and $12 for guests. The Old Cheese Factory is at 34 Homestead Road, Berwick, and there is parking available in the grounds.
