Enjoy the Lost Lands Festival at Werribee

September 14, 2018 by

Werribee Park will host the Lost Lands Festival in November, giving the whole family the chance to enjoy music and other entertainment.

Musical acts on the Lost Stage will include Tim Finn, Baker Boy, Clare Bowditch, You Am I and many more. At the same time, the Lost Lands Arts and Wonder program has a host of activities. There will be a series of sideshow performances in the mini big top, or visitors can head along to the Frankentoy laboratory and make a fantastical creature out of pieces of old soft toys.

The Festival Poet will write a poem for anyone who asks. Young and old can dress up as ghosts and join in the Bed Sheet Ghost Party. Those who just want to dance can start the day with Morning Gloryville, then learn old time dances, like the waltz and Pride of Erin, and dances from around the world, such as the Mexican Hat Dance and the Zorba, in the afternoon. In the evening visitors can relax at the Sleeping Bag Cinema.

There will be camping facilities on site with toilets, showers and baby care stations as well as glamping options.

The Festival will be held on 3rd and 4th November, so Victorians can put away their laptops and business cards for Melbourne Cup long weekend and head to Werribee to relax at the Lost Lands Festival.

Tickets can be purchased through TryBooking.
