Epping set for colourful end to March

Print company in Epping printing services Epping will be the place to be for visitors from all backgrounds and ages to enjoy an afternoon of fun activities at the Whittlesea Colour Carnival, including the popular annual Colour Run.

Carnival rides will be running for the enjoyment of all, food and drink stalls will be on site, and a stage will be erected for musical performances. Local community groups from all cultures will be present with a variety of stalls.

Since its beginning in March 2011, the Colour Run has allowed everyone in the community to take part. With an emphasis on bringing awareness of healthy exercise while encouraging fun in the process, there is no time limit to completing the run, which is spread over a five-kilometre route. Running is not compulsory; walking, or jogging or just taking a casual stroll are all options.

Thousands of runners are expected to participate, all of whom start off by wearing white before being sprayed with coloured powder at every kilometre mark, finishing the route saturated in colour.

The Whittlesea Colour Carnival will be open to all from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Saturday, March 25 at the Meadowglen Athletics Reserve on McDonalds Road at Epping. This is a family event with free entry to all ages.
