The couple purchased a three-bedroom, two-bathroom unit within Stage 1 of the South City Square development.

To create a home to suit their needs, the excited Marchittos worked with the developer Pellicano to customise a living space that is both spacious and homely. Personal touches of the couple were added to the unit by installing customised flooring, bathroom tiles, and kitchen design.

Due to their love of cooking and entertaining, the sociable couple requires a large space in their home to entertain family and friends. This requirement was easily met by having a wide-spanning balcony that wraps around three quarters of the apartment, allowing them host large parties while enjoying the Brisbane climate.

Stage 1 of the One South City development consists of 14 levels and 118 apartment units. The development also features community amenities such as a pool, spa, lounge, sundeck, moonlight-dining space, and rooftop teppanyaki bar.

The next stages of the project include an additional six mixed-use commercial and residential buildings. The total cost of the overall project is approximately $600m.

Pellicano’s Development Operations Manager, Michael Kent, said his team is happy regarding the success of the project, marked by successful sales of all available units within months of the launch in 2015.
