Fun circus theme adopted for big charity gala

A circus theme has been adopted for the 2018 Mayor’s Charity Gala Dinner in Campbelltown.

Mayor George Brticevic said a big night of live music, entertainment, drinks and a three-course meal is planned with all proceeds being directed to the St Vincent de Paul Refuge in Campbelltown. He added:

“The facility provides a safe and secure environment to learn independent living skills while empowering the families in their care on their personal journey, supporting multicultural practices and respecting diversity, religion and background.”

The refuge can cater for a maximum of 11 families at a time and provides aid including meals, accommodation, advice and information.

The Mayor said the organisation also helps to connect those in need with other resources within the community, including medical support, government assistance, housing and education.

He added that in the near future the council will be releasing a ‘pledge list’ of items commonly required to meet the needs of individual families who are staying at the facility.

Tickets for the 2018 Mayor’s Charity Gala black tie dinner, to be held at the Campbelltown Arts Centre on August 4, are now available for $150 each or $1,400 for a table of 10.

Sponsorship by local business owners is being encouraged and is still open for the major charity event.

Brochure and banner printing by local businesses that sponsor the night receives optimum exposure during evenings like this.
