Anyone looking to renovate their house or redo their garden will find plenty of ideas at the Better Homes and Gardens Live event happening in Melbourne this weekend.

The event at Melbourne Showgrounds will feature demonstrations and exhibitors, and there will be appearances from the experts who feature on the Better Homes and Gardens television show. The professionals will be on hand to pass on their knowledge to budding DIY experts.

The show is not limited to DIY, however, and there are several things to keep food lovers, craft enthusiasts and designers happy too. The children will find something to keep them entertained at the special kids' zone, including a petting zoo with farmyard animals, a section for pre-teens and even a trampoline to help them burn off some excess energy before they look around the show.

The home zone will feature demonstrations and products for work in every room of the house. More than 250 exhibitors will be at the show, and many will be offering giveaways or special offers to show visitors. Catalogue printing can help visitors from Essendon learn more about the products and get the right equipment for their project.

The cooking zone offers demonstrations of different cooking styles as well as all the gadgets needed to recreate dishes at home, while the gardening zone will provide landscaping ideas.

The show starts on Friday and finishes on Sunday. Doors will be open from 10:00am to 5:00pm each day. For more information and to book tickets, visit the Better Homes and Gardens Live website.
