Horse polo event to raise funds for charities

For the past eight years, Western Australians have enjoyed coming together to watch horses and riders test their skills at Polo in the Valley, near Midland. It has recently been revealed that Chellingworth Bentley is the new sponsor with naming rights to this year’s upcoming event.

There will be many more activities than just horse polo though; in between the three polo matches, guests will be able to join in to contend for the best dressed in the ‘Fashion on the Field’, with winners in both ladies and men’s sections winning custom-made jewellery. The ‘Dash for Ladies and Gents’ will create some hilarity, and of course the ‘Divot Stomp’ will be a popular part of the proceedings.

Proceeds from this polo event traditionally go towards supporting Youth Focus and Telethon charities. Both of these organisations are committed to providing help for young people suffering from depression and thoughts of suicide.

There will also be a number of marquees and lounges set up for meals and entertainment. An event of this nature would likely use banner printing as well as printing services for items such as menus.

Bentley Polo in the Valley will be held on Sunday, April 2 at Duncraig Stud on Dale Road at Swan Valley from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The dress code is smart casual.
