Knox Festival celebrates Home Sweet Home theme

Visitors and residents of Melbourne will be able to enjoy the Knox Festival at nearby Ferntree Gully over two days, celebrating this year’s theme, ‘Home Sweet Home’.

Many activities will be on offer, guaranteed to please all tastes and interests. Whether it is arts and crafts or live musical performances, browsing products at stalls of local vendors or taking part in interactive presentations, there will be something for everyone.

There will also be everyone’s favourite – the fireworks spectacular and a cinema at twilight. The finals of the Knox Factor singing competition will be contested on the first day of the festival, with the winner invited to take part in future events during the year.

The Festival is staffed by a large contingent of students and volunteers from the local community who freely give their time to make the event happen. These types of events usually take advantage of banner printing, flyers, and signs.

The Knox Festival will be open on Saturday, March 4 to Sunday, March 5 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm each day at the Wally Tew Reserve on Glenfern Road at Ferntree Gully. The Knox Factor competition will be held at 6:30 pm on Saturday, March 4. This is an event to appeal to the whole family and all ages, although people are asked to leave their pets at home.
