Liverpool City Council will hold the popular, fun and free ‘Christmas in the Mall’ celebration again this year.

This much-loved event gives residents the opportunity to celebrate with Christmas carols from across the globe.

This year’s event will include market stalls, garden games and food trucks. Activities for youngsters will feature Club Liverpool with a disco, face painting, balloon animals, jumping castles and an animal farm. Santa is planning a visit at 4:30pm. Events like this are sometimes promoted using poster printing and flyer printing services.

The Christmas carol program will feature a number of Western Sydney performers. Furthermore, carols will be sung in several languages to represent the cultural diversity of Liverpool.

The event will kick off at 1pm on Saturday 1 December with Lucky Larty (Wolof from Senegal and Ga from Ghana) followed by performances inspired by several countries and cultures including Macedonian, Tongan, Vietnamese, Spanish and English.

The Greater Sydney Chinese Choir will perform at 4:40pm, followed by the Andalus Arabic Choir. The final performer of the evening will be Jessica Jade singing in English and the festivities will draw to a close with the 8pm tree lighting ceremony.

Christmas in the Mall will be held at the Macquarie Mall in Macquarie Street, Liverpool. Further information can be found on the Liverpool City Council website and Facebook page.
