Logan City festival to celebrate food and film

February 6, 2019 by

Local families from Slacks Creek and other Logan City suburbs will be flocking to Greenbank on February 2 for the Everleigh Food Truck and Movie Festival.

The festival will be held on the new $5.1 million Mirvac development of regional parkland and will celebrate an entire month of free food and films. Mirvac will be the host of the event throughout the four Saturdays in February, with each individual event opening at 5.30pm and the movie rolling an hour later at 6:30pm.

Taking place in the open air at Everleigh Park in Greenbank, the festival will grant its first 200 attendees a free meal and complimentary film. Events like this often rely on colourful flyer printing to share information about the occasion with the community. The Everleigh Festival’s aim is to provide an affordable and family-friendly evening.

Each Saturday of the festival will share cuisine from a different food truck and screen a family movie. Wild Rissole will provide Aussie beef and alternative vegetarian choices with the Jungle Book while the One World truck will serve up Spanish seafood for Finding Dory. Abbiocco will offer Italian street snacks with Beauty and the Beast and Micasa burgers will dish out Tex-Mex takeaway during the film, Wonder.

The Everleigh Food Truck and Movie Festival will commence on Saturday 2nd February 5:30pm-8:30pm.
