Berwick and Narre Warren Wrestling fans are cheering for hometown hulk Matt Silva, who recently signed with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

WWE, a sporting giant in the United States and around the world, has featured some of entertainments biggest superstars, including The Rock and Hulk Hogan.

Silva has been fighting with Melbourne City Wrestling for the past six years, honing his skills, while bulking up to a formidable and intimidating size. It has been his objective to one day take on the giants of the sport.

He said:

“I started watching wrestling when I was eight…it’s always been my dream to make it to the WWE.”

Silva was one of over 80 wrestlers from around the globe chosen for the try-outs in Florida, with a contract on offer to only one competitor. When Silva was selected, he showed no hesitation in signing immediately. He is now readying enthusiastically to become part of the WWE. He continued:

“I’m going in as a newbie, waiting for the call up to the main roster before I start competing…it’s the biggest wrestling company in the world.”

Silva is looking forward to representing Australia in the world’s biggest wrestling arena. To prepare, he had his last fight in Melbourne before heading overseas, against Adam Brooks, his former understudy.

Silva is soon to be a household name, especially amongst the fanatical wrestling fraternity. Autographed photos of this enormous and courageous young man may soon be skyrocketing in value. Narre Warren printing companies are on hand to assist in preservation and presentation for most profitable rewards.
