The Melbourne Cricket Ground, known as the MCG, or simply the ‘G, near the suburb of Richmond, is flanked by several sporting arenas and stadia. Known primarily as the home of cricket, it has within its walls a collection of versatile function rooms and conference areas.

Hirers can choose between views of the world famous green pitch, the soaring towers of Melbourne’s CBD, Yarra Park, or vibrant Richmond.

In addition to the facilities available within the MCG, hirers could make ample use of local printing companies for memorable presentation folders with promotional products or corporate gifts.

The MCG has a variety of catering options, plus standard features such as Wi-Fi, built-in AV with digital screens, and even use of the scoreboard if desired, making this a unique venue for any kind of event or function. From a banquet in the members’ dining room to afternoon tea on the Robert Flower Terrace, overlooking Richmond, each function is tailor-made to suit the hirer’s needs and budget.

Optional extras may be added, such as tours of the player change rooms and boundary fence, or a visit to the National Sports Museum. The museum houses the biggest collection of its kind in Australia, bursting with mementoes of sporting history, and is itself the perfect venue for a cocktail party.
