Mona Vale Chamber of Commerce seeks new hosts

July 3, 2018 by

The Mona Vale Chamber of Commerce is seeking new hosts for its monthly networking functions for September onwards.

Chambers of Commerce and other trade bodies exist to help businesses work together to protect their interests on a local or regional level. The first Australian Chamber was founded in Sydney in 1826, with Adelaide, Melbourne, Hobart and Brisbane following suit by the end of the century.

The current Mona Vale Chamber of Commerce has been operating since 2010 to strengthen the local business community through networking and co-operation. They aim to promote the area and its businesses by supporting community events, such as Mona Vale Market Day and Rotary Christmas Carols in the Park. The Chamber acts as a resource base for information about support services and government requirements and advocates on behalf of the local business community to Northern Beaches Council and other governmental bodies.

The Chamber holds monthly networking functions, held at different businesses in the area. These provide an opportunity for members to share their expertise and experience and promote their own business to other members.

As the host of one of their functions, the Chamber will use the company’s logo and business information on their marketing materials such as poster printing, e-flyers and invitations. If your business is interested in hosting a function, see the official Mona Vale Chamber website.

The next monthly functions are July 10 and August 1. Tickets can be booked via the website.
