“The app makes it easy to search The Hills Shire Library’s extensive and very popular catalogue,”

he said.

“And then once you’ve found what you’re looking for, you can easily check its availability at your local Hills Shire Library branch.”

Mr. Dean said personal visitors to the library will still have access to everything from internet access to photocopy and Print company in printing services printing services printing services but the new app provided a convenient alternative to those who couldn’t attend in person.

“We want our residents to have access to a wide range of learning resources, workshops and activities, and that means providing both physical and virtual options,”

he said.

Other services available at the library include internet and computer services, monthly book deliveries to housebound residents, pet registration, rate payments and room hire.

Residents are able to download the Spydus app on Google Play or from the Apple App Store at any time.
