Prime industrial land set for development in 2019

A number of leading logo designs will soon be on show within Frasers Property’s The Key Industrial Park, with further expansion on track to begin in Braeside in mid-2019.

Rubies Deerfield, Silvan, CH2, Stanley Black & Decker and ARB have all recently finalised agreements with Frasers Property.

Frasers Property Australia Southern Region General Manager Anthony Maugeri said 10-year leases were secured with four of the companies, while ARB invested $19.4m in a 16,000sqm turnkey warehouse.

The news comes after Frasers Property Australia bought 23 hectares of prime Braeside industrial land for around $20m earlier this year from Saltview Pty Ltd. Magueri said:

“The acquisition of Braeside is a natural extension of our 116 hectare The Key Industrial Park in Keysborough, which is fast approaching completion.

“Braeside’s masterplan will comprise a mix of options including land sales, A-grade buildings for leases and turnkey opportunities for owner-occupiers.”

Maugeri said the acquisition is an indication of the firm’s dedication to the industrial market of Victoria’s South East, and added that heavy demand from warehousing, transport and logistics groups for these facilities is expected to continue, particularly due to the industrial zone in which it is located.

Construction on the Braeside estate, which is located next to the proposed Mordialloc Bypass, is expected to begin in mid-2019 with the estate’s launch due within the next few months.
