Rock music double bill for Penrith

July 12, 2017 by

Two legendary bands will be presented together in one memorable Penrith show this week.

The Radiators and Mental As Anything will soon take the stage at the Panthers World of Entertainment in Penrith.

The Radiators have been a part of rock music in Australia ever since their pub beginnings in 1978. The Sydney-based band has recorded many albums, two of which turned platinum and two gold. The band has toured extensively, putting on more than 4,000 shows in front of nearly three million people. They have also played with other major bands, including INXS, AC/DC and Rose Tattoo.

Mental As Anything likewise shares a rich and varied history of touring and recording. Their biography staqtes played their first gig on a pool table in 1977, on the night that Elvis died..

Given the extensive recording and touring history of both bands, it is anticipated that there will be plenty of promotional products for sale on the night, along with music albums, poster printing and other memorabilia.

The concert is this Friday, July 14, at the EVAN Theatre which is in the Panthers World of Entertainment, 123 Mulgoa Road, Penrith. Doors will open at 7:30 pm, and the concert begins at 8:00 pm. Mental As Anything will open the show. Ticket prices start at $22, and bookings can be made through Ticketek.
