Russian circus trapeze artists set to swing in

The Russian Bondarev flying Trapeze Team is set to visit Logan this upcoming Easter school holidays.

Families in Logan and surrounding areas can look forward to the gravity-defying stunts and daring tricks from the circus team.

After a young Iyla Bondarev became mesmerised by a performance of a gymnast on a high trapeze, he become motivated to study gymnastics at a sporting school in Russia and earned a Master of Sports. He then formed the Russian Bondarev Flying Trapeze team. After years of travelling the world together with his acrobatic team, he met and married his wife Diana, also a circus performer.

Logan residents who are interested in watching the Bondarev Trapeze team live in action can attend Circus Rio which will be happening at Logan Hyperdome during the holidays. Residents of Slacks Creek will just need to take a short trip to the Hyperdome to enjoy the fun-filled family event. Tickets can be purchased from the Big Top, Pacific Highway, Bryants Road, Loganholme.

Apart from Circus Rio, various circus groups frequently tour around Australia, which welcomes the interesting performers with opening arms. People who are interested in catching a circus performance can look out for eye-catching advertisements around town. Organisers often carry out poster printing and display notices to promote circus events that are hot in town.

The performance is running now and can be seen up until April 15.
