TK Maxx to open six outlets in Melbourne

European retail giant TK Maxx is poised to set up six stores within Melbourne.

The new TK Maxx shops will be located in Docklands, Fountain Gate, Broadmeadows, Frankston, Kingston Central Plaza, and Dandenong. Several of the retail outlets will be accommodated in converted buildings that used to belong to Trade Secret.

Tessa Buenan, a TK Maxx spokesperson, has explained the philosophy of the cost-conscious retailer, saying:

“We buy throughout the year, rather than seasonally, and close to need. So, when a designer overproduces or other stores overbuy, we swoop in, negotiate the lowest possible price and pass the savings on.”

The fashion business has announced that it will have at least 35 retail outlets within the whole of Australia. It may now wish to use marketing services in Dandenong to boost growth in Melbourne.

TK Maxx wants to move forward with fast fashion, and the emphasis will be placed on selling famous brands and fresh labels cheaply. Alongside conventional fashion items like designer handbags and shoes, the six retail outlets will stock domestic products, luggage and toys. The shops will be accessible seven days a week.

The opening of the shops will be celebrated with a competition. In addition, some of the consumers who get into the stores swiftly will be able to obtain special bags as a reward.
